Introduction to the Extensions Program
Do you have a mathematically-precocious student in grades six through twelve? If so, be sure to check out the Extensions Program, MoMath's once-a-month online series designed specifically for mathematically-gifted students. This program provides an excellent opportunity for young minds to delve deeper into the world of mathematics under the guidance of an expert in the field.
Meet Chaim Goodman-Strauss
Students are invited to join MoMath's outreach mathematician, Chaim Goodman-Strauss, for an enlightening mini-course on logic. Logic is a fascinating and fundamental area of mathematics, basic to our thinking, yet full of intriguing puzzles and paradoxes. Goodman-Strauss brings his extensive knowledge and passion for mathematics to each session, ensuring that students are both challenged and engaged.
Session Details
The Extensions Program sessions will be held online, providing convenient access for students from various locations. The classes will run from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm ET on the following Sundays: June 16, July 14, and August 11. Each session is designed to foster a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts in a supportive and stimulating environment.
