ABOUT ME
Nice to meet you
''In my work, I like to place emphasis on self-reliance and self-discovery, meaning that I prefer to take the role of a facilitator or a mentor, rather than being the one with the answers. My methodology follows the current research in the field overall, and I take care of keeping on top of all new developments in the field.''
She began her career as an instructor in the Philippines, where she gained valuable teaching experience. Seeking to broaden her horizons and gain a global perspective, she made the decision to move to Thailand. There, she not only continued to teach but also had the opportunity to provide trainings in Cambodia and Australia. Over the course of more than 8 years, she taught in Thailand to learners from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds, further enhancing her skills as an educator. Currently, she is teaching in Canada, where she has been for over 2 years, instructing learners of different grades in ESL as well as mathematics. Her dedication to teaching and her extensive experience make her a highly qualified and adaptable educator.
She is leading an educational organization Inkfinite Learning Corporation with a vision to revolutionize the education industry.
EXPERIENCE
My methods
Engaging Activities
Engaging activities are a valuable tool in both math and English education. In math, students can solve real-life problems, work collaboratively on projects, and engage in hands-on activities that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
MusicoMath
Mathematics provides a solid foundation for understanding the structure and patterns within music. The synergy between music and mathematics not only enriches our understanding of both disciplines but also opens up a world of creativity and innovation.
Use of Realia or Real-life Examples
Realia is a teaching strategy that involves using real life examples or objects to enhance learning. By incorporating realia into the classroom, educators can create a more interactive and engaging environment for students. Realia not only makes the learning experience more authentic but also encourages active participation and critical thinking among students.
Practice, Practice & Practice
Breaking practice questions into parts is an effective strategy to improve comprehension and retention. This method also promotes critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, as it encourages learners to approach questions from different angles and consider multiple perspectives. Overall, breaking practice questions into parts is a valuable technique that enhances learning and mastery of the subject matter.
